In August 2006, thanks to the generosity and volunteerism of many, the historic Colonial Theatre located in the heart of downtown Pittsfield, Massachusetts re-opened its doors in its newly renovated and exquisitely beautiful space.
The Colonial offers year-round enriching, educational and inspiring entertainment to people of all ages and backgrounds. From family fun shows and first-class comedy and music, to opera and young artist classical performances to singer/songwriter tributes and international offerings that open new doors for understanding and appreciating our world – there is truly something for everyone.

Membership income is a critical component for success. Ticket sales and rental income cover just over half of the expenses associated with operating and programming the Colonial. • Waived ticket exchange fee with up to 24 hours advance notice

Theatre Buff $125+ ($105 tax deductible)

• Private behind-the-scenes tour with reception hosted by the Colonial’s executive director (four times per year)
